A passionate life is waiting for you

When we discover who we are, start being true to ourselves and accept what makes us unique — that is when we start to align with our authentic self and live with passion.

What does it mean to live a passionate life?

For some, it means doing work that they love. For others, it means having fulfilling relationships, exciting experiences, or financial freedom. The list could go on and on because the answer is different for each person.

What would a passionate life look like for YOU?

I didn’t have an answer to that question for many years. I envied friends and people around me who seemed to have more fun and enjoy their lives more than I did. Though I was a busy wife, mother, and the CEO of several family-owned businesses, something was missing. But deep inside there was an ember burning, just waiting to be uncovered and fanned into a flame.

The first step toward a passionate life is to discover yourself.

For many years, I did not know who I was. I wasn’t able to value my strengths or appreciate my uniqueness. Can you relate? Have you ever wondered, “Who am I? Why am I like this? Why was I born this way? What am I missing?”

Thankfully, over time, I came to realize that no one in the whole world would ever be the same as me. As I dug deeper and learned to value the things that made me different — my unique personality traits, thought patterns, lifestyle choices — it all started to make sense.

The second step toward a passionate life is to discover what is in your heart; what you are longing for.

My passion for life, the spark inside, was hidden for more than two decades, covered by responsibilities to my family members and our businesses. When I started to uncover that spark, everything changed. Now I wake up every day with excitement and renewed energy which can’t be stopped.

Where is the spark inside of you? Maybe you have not even known it was there. Dig deeper and discover it. It might be covered in ashes, rocks, or heavy soil. It could have been buried a few years or, like mine, for a decade or longer. During that time, you were busy living and doing the best you could. You didn’t have time (or take time) to stop, be still, and really look inside.

It’s not too late to start. You’re one click away from taking the first step to live a passionate life.

Let’s get started.
