Moving Forward to an Exciting Year
When the pandemic started, it was hard to imagine we could continue with all these changes for more than a few weeks. Yet, here we are, many months later, with Christmas just around the corner. Even though we experienced challenges that sometimes felt overwhelming, we can be thankful we are here now. Let’s stop to look back and reflect on how we lived this year — and look forward to an exciting year ahead.

We are wrapping up with a memorable 2020 as we enter November. Ready or not, the holiday season is around the corner. For most of us, the holiday season brings excitement and anxieties at the same time. We are happy to see families, but we often feel anxious. Relationship issues seem to be most magnified during holidays.

3 Steps to Living with a Healthy Mindset
Can you imagine what would happen if we never cleaned up the garbage in our kitchen? It would stink up the whole house and create a health hazard. The same is true with garbage we keep in our minds. We live with 60,000 thoughts a day — and many of these are automatically negative.
Wisdom For Parents During Crisis
What if a crisis like COVID-19 could be a wonderful opportunity for parents? I hear many parents talking about the stress of spending increased time with their children at home. While it's good to see and learn things about the children that you didn't know before, you might also find yourself getting anxious. And when you don't know how to deal with the anxiety, it leads to even more stress.
Goodbye worry - hello calm!
If someone told you that you can stop worrying altogether, would you believe it? Is it really possible to stop worrying? The answer is “YES”! (And no, I am not from another planet.)
Good News!
The world still feels like it's on pause, doesn't it? There's one thing that doesn't have to be on pause — and that is your purpose.
I know that it seems like every new notification has worse news than the previous one. So how can we start creating our own good news?
We carry around the “manuals”
Most of us believe that we would be happier if someone in our life would change. It is a significant cause of our emotional pain. Most problems are about wanting other people to behave differently. We believe that other people have the power to determine how we feel.
We carry around the “manuals.” These are the instruction guides, listing how we would like other people to behave so we can feel good and happy. Most of us are not aware that we are carrying around these manuals, and we don’t see the pain they are causing us.
Do You Feel Out of Control?
So many of us feel out of control much of the time. We feel like we don’t know why we do what we do. We think...
“I don’t want to eat that much food."
“I don’t want to yell at my kids.”
“I don’t want to yell at my husband.”
“I don’t want to watch all of this TV.”
“I don’t want to be surfing the internet for hours and hours."
But we just can’t seem to control it.

How Cultivating a Vision Leads to Clarity
When you have a vision, you also have clarity. Imagine you are a golfer going out to play a match on a foggy day. If you had played the course previously, you would have some understanding of the course’s layout. When preparing to take your shot, you would at least know the general direction in which to aim your club. But if you had not played on that course before, and you were playing in less-than-ideal weather conditions, how would this make you feel?
"Is this all there is to life?"
Do you sometimes find yourself asking this question? If you live an unconscious life without purpose, life just happens to you. Many of us go to school to succeed in society… get a good job… find the right spouse… have children. Those aren’t bad goals, but here’s what often happens: We think we are living well by fulfilling our roles. We let life happen to us, rather than walking toward finding and living our purpose. Here are 4 reasons why you need to know your life mission & purpose.
