3 Steps to Living with a Healthy Mindset

Can you imagine what would happen if we never cleaned up the garbage in our kitchen?

It would stink up the whole house and create a health hazard. The same is true with garbage we keep in our minds. We live with 60,000 thoughts a day — and many of these are automatically negative.

The first step to living with a healthy mindset is learning how to do a 'Thought Download’.
This simply means getting your thoughts out of your brain and onto paper. The purpose is to get rid of garbage thoughts, just like you take out the trash from your kitchen. It's about writing down ALL of your thoughts — just keep writing without stopping the pen.

After downloading your thoughts, the second step is to look at what you wrote.
Examine your thoughts with curiosity and love — without judging or scolding yourself. Which of these thoughts are healthy? Which are unhealthy? (Just observing and being aware of your thoughts itself could be a game-changer for your life.)

The third step is to pick a few unhealthy thoughts and do mindset self-coaching in order to select new, useful thoughts.
Doing this process requires some training, and this is where coaching comes in. My role as a Mindset Coach is to help clients view their downloaded thoughts and coach them to do mindset self-coaching so that they can choose new thoughts.

Learning to practice Thought Download is the first step to living with a healthy mindset, and it should be an important part of your daily routine.

My bedtime routine is doing Thought Download and mind set self-coaching every day. It helps me sleep better and I wake up feeling very refreshed in the morning. My clients are having the same experience.
