How Cultivating a Vision Leads to Clarity

When you have a vision, you also have clarity.

Imagine you are a golfer going out to play a match on a foggy day. If you had played the course previously, you would have some understanding of the course’s layout. When preparing to take your shot, you would at least know the general direction in which to aim your club.

But if you had not played on that course before, and you were playing in less-than-ideal weather conditions, how would this make you feel? No matter how much you had practiced your swing, the fog would make it impossible to play your best game.

This lack of focus and direction is how many people live their life or run their business. Operating without knowing your mission or vision can feel as confusing and frustrating as playing a game of golf with no idea of where you’re headed.

With a clear mission statement comes clarity in setting priorities and making important decisions for your life and business. It’s like teeing off on a manicured course on a clear day without a cloud in the sky. The ball might not land exactly where you planned, but at least you know you are aiming in the right direction.

With your new-found clarity, you will feel more inspired, focused, and prepared to take positive action toward your goals.

That is when you will see the results: transformation of yourself and your business.
