"Is this all there is to life?"

Do you sometimes find yourself asking this question?

If you live an unconscious life without purpose, life just happens to you. Many of us go to school to succeed in society… get a good job… find the right spouse… have children.

Those aren’t bad goals, but here’s what often happens: We think we are living well by fulfilling our roles. We let life happen to us, rather than walking toward finding and living our purpose.

Here are 4 reasons why you need to know your life mission & purpose:

  1. Get clarity in direction and making choices.
When you know your mission and purpose, you are clearer on where you are heading. You are able to make choices more easily, whether it is a big life decision or a choice in the moment. You will be able to make a decision based on the priority, rather than the urgency. Without a purpose and priority, we have a tendency to focus on what is urgent right now. When you plan your life based on your priorities, your life will be organized. As a result, you will be living a balanced life with joy.

  2. Gain a sense of self and confidence.
Knowing your life mission and purpose gives you a clearer sense of who you are. You also become more confident — because you know that you are in this world for a reason and that your contribution counts. I want you to be confident, knowing that you do have a purpose, whether you have found it yet or not.

  3. Find more meaning in your life.
Finding your mission and purpose creates a sense of meaning in your life. I have never met a person who doesn’t have the desire to make a difference somehow — whether that means rescuing one animal, helping a group of people, or even wanting to save the world. Quantity does not matter. It would still give you a sense of meaning for your life.

  4. Have a positive impact on the world.
Knowing your purpose allows you to have a much greater impact on the world. Your purpose allows you to have the most profound impact — but only if you actually live it.

Let’s find your purpose and live it to help contribute to a better world.

Living without knowing your purpose is like driving a car without a GPS on a very foggy day. Imagine… your GPS doesn’t work and you are heading to a place you have never been… you can’t see the signs on the street… you are very confused… you don’t know which way is north or south.

It is never too late to find direction.

NOW is the best time to find your purpose to live a meaningful life, have a sense of self and confidence, direction, clarity to make decisions, and able to make a positive impact on the world.

Let’s find and live it.
